Last week Faith2Share was honoured to be invited to facilitate a Discipleship Consultation in Islamabad, Pakistan, as a follow-up to the successful consultation held in Lahore two years earlier, continuing our engagement with Christian leaders in the region.

The main focus for this year’s consultation was Discipleship in the Workplace, a vital area as Christians navigate the challenges of integrating faith into professional life. We have also looked into what is means to be a disciple within the context of a religious minority. The workshops and discussions provided a platform for sharing experiences, developing strategies for effective discipleship and equipping local leaders.

In working in partnership with the Evangelical Association of Pakistan, Faith2Share was able to attract a wider cohort of Christian leaders, including more women working in leadership roles.The Islamabad consultation built upon the foundations laid in Lahore in 2022 and aligns with Faith2Share's commitment to facilitating 'whole-life' discipleship within our member movements and partners. The success of this follow-up consultation in Islamabad reinforces the importance of ongoing support and empowerment for local Christian leaders in fostering a culture of discipleship that reaches into every aspect of life.
