Faith2Share movements understand God's mission to be concerned with all creation. We believe that God seeks to address every human need and is also concerned about the renewal of the whole creation. Whether a child is hungry, a man seeks spiritual reality or a woman cries out for justice, God's mission is to that person.

One useful way of understanding this 'wholeness' of God's mission is through the

FIVE MARKS OF MISSION

To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom

To teach, baptise and nurture new believers

To respond to human need by loving service

To seek to transform unjust structures of society

To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth

These Five Marks of Mission were first set out in Bonds of Affection - 1984 ACC-6 p49 and later in Mission in a Broken World - 1990 ACC-8 p101

The Picture Links on the right of this page will help you explore each of these marks of mission in turn.

As you explore the work of Faith2Share member movements you will discover that together we address each of these aspects of mission in many countries around the world. We join God in seeking justice, in caring for the environment, in sharing our grasp of spiritual realities, in teaching the Christian faith and baptising believers, and in caring for the sick, the hungry and the refugee.

If these are also your concerns we invite you to join us through one of our movements.
