St Francis of Assisi once reminded his brother monks that they were called to preach the Gospel and to use words only where necessary.
In a hurting world, where many are denied even the basic dignities of life, it is only natural that Christians should follow the example of Jesus as they seek to heal the sick, care for the refugee, provide work for the unemployed and visit those in prison.
Jesus once said that the care we offer to even the smallest child or the weakest old man is received as if it were offered to God.
Some Faith2Share member movements have been active in caring for others around the world for over 200 years. Many hospitals and schools were established by our members and today we continue to respond to major emergencies and personal crises in over seventy countries each year. As society changes so do the needs of its weakest members. The HIV-AIDS pandemic has brought us new challenges as have the rise in people trafficking for the sex industry and the spread of drug abuse.

Faith2Share personnel who are deployed around the world are professionally qualified and work to high standards, but the most important aspect of their work is the relationship they have with those they serve. It has often been our experience that the more we give, the more we receive; that the person we reach out to serve actually gives us so much more in return.
This is why our strapline says, "We believe faith needs to be shared".
