INDIA Please pray for Rev Khanna, Presbyter in-charge of All Saints Church in Srinagar, Church of North India, who is under house arrest on the charges of conversion of some Muslims to Christianity. Please pray the Lord to give him strength to go through this time of persecution.
INDIA Please pray for 10 church planters of NEW LIFE IN INDIA who are now in their 10 respective unreached areas and for their urgent needs of Bibles and 10 bicycles. Update: Praise God who listens all of their prayer and provides the money for 5 bicycles for their church planters and also requests to keep praying for another 5 bicycles, bible, and Christian literature. Also, he wants us to join his prayer that God will provide their needs for Christmas gifts to give their 15 missionaries /church planters and their families during their annual meeting which is going to be held on 14 December 2011.
UGANDA Pray for all the activities and programmes run by HOPE FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN MINISTRY for orphans, street children, widows in Uganda and their supporters.

SE ASIA Please continue to pray for those who are affected by recent flooding in Pakistan, Cambodia and Thailand. Pray for comfort and peace for Christian workers in these areas. Pray that many would turn to trust in Jesus during this time of turmoil and suffering.
KENYA Pray that God shows up His help in the current situation in Kenya and pours out the Holy Spirit onto the lives and ministry of Harvest Global Mission to continuously serve God and to see Him take us through at this hour of prophetic harvest. Particularly pray for staff and volunteers who are working tirelessly, spaces for their on-going projects, Christian literatures which they need for their ministry, and financial needs which they project for every-day mission operation.
TURKEY Pray for Turkey where at least 1000 people feared dead and many injured in a powerful earthquake that rocked in the southeast region. The epicentre of the quake was at Tabanli, a village situated around 20 km north of Van city and the earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7.3, was occurred at 1:41 p.m. Local time. Particulary, please pray for people who lost their family and friends by this unexpected disaster and for all the Christian workers who are working in the affected area.
MYANMAR Please pray for: 1. Bible Project for believers who do not have the Bible. 2. Christian Literature Project for producing Christian books, tracts, pamphlets, notes, and effective letters. 3. Children Development and Protection Project. 4. Church Planting Missionary Support Project. 5. Building Project for ministries based and for worship service place. 6. Micro-Business Project, especially for Farming. These projects are necessary, effective, and beneficial in Myanmar context. Also, pray for those who are working on these projects.
NEPAL please pray and support for the upcoming regional youth conference for the 300 youths for which Himalayan Mission Network (HMN) is gearing up from 23-25 October 2011 and also pray and keep supporting for their mobile bible school started from 10 October with 28 second line leaders who we equip and send for the church planting ministry. HMN also needs urgent financial supports to build a boys and girls dormitory rental house.
INDIA IEM field ministry team requires prayer for hundreds of people from Afghanistan arrived in New Delhi for various needs every day as India is a democratic and Secular Country, particularly for the volunteers welcoming visitors and sharing their faith. 4000 of these visitors have received gospel portion or tract in their own language in the past four months, including "God Answers your Questions" and there is a need of 1000 gospel portions in Dari every week. Pray that the Lord would send these literatures at the earliest and that those who read the word of God may be ministered by the Holy Spirit and join the local Church to share their faith with the other Afghan people. Pray that more Churches in Delhi and National Capital Region would participate and be supportive.
EGYPT Ugent prayer request from Archbishop Mounir Anis: "I do request your urgent prayers as the situation here in Cairo is very inflamed. Many Christians demonstrated after the incident of the burning of a church building in Mari Nab near Aswan. The demonstrations started peacefully but recently it became very violent between demonstrators and the military. More than 20 people were killed and more than 100 were injured."

INDIA: Thank God for the Bihar Out-Reach Network where 279 baptisms took place and 20 new churches were planted in the month of July. Pray for the newly formed churches in Bihar to become indigenous in their leadership, financial self-supporting and witnessing locally.
INDIA: Please pray Moses, the teenage son of IEM missionaries, who will be receiving brain surgery at Christian Medical College Hospital, Vellore. He has a long history of illness, and the whole family needs our prayers.
SOLOMON ISLANDS: Please pray for six New Zealanders who will be going to partner with a church in the Solomon Islands to see what God is doing in another culture and context. Ministry opportunities will include evangelism, teaching, running youth and children's events, community work and preaching. Please pray for the preparations, and visit in mid-August.
RWANDA: "We serve a mighty God who heals and answers prayer", Says Jane Zimulinda, wife of CMS Timothy partner Pheneas Zimulinda. Phineas was diagnosed with Guillain Barre syndrome (GBS), a rare disorder that affects the nervous system. He was in ICU at Aga Khan Hospital, then Nairobi West Hospital in critical condition. He is out of danger and was discharged. Thank you for your prayers. Pray for them as they return to Rwanda. Let’s keep praying for him as he returns home to recuperate and that support with hefty medical bills will cover the costs. (Friends of Byumba are accepting donations).
TANZANIA Rev Abel Obura says, "Dr Carr Neville is a missionary from CMS Australia working at St John's University of Tanzania. He is not well. Let's pray for him and his wife Elspeth when they are preparing to return to Australia. They have done a lot here, may God bless them abundantly."
SOUTH EAST ASIA Let us pray with Asian Outreach this week for the many Kradai people groups (common to the majority Thai and Lao people groups, the Shan of Burma, and several other less populous groups, predominantly Buddhist). Pray for Thai people, that the gospel will be contextualised in a way they can understand and need, and that their response will be to embrace Christ. We believe that the tide is turning for these people groups and that the Lord wants to see many come into His Kingdom.
JAPAN Pray for Pray for Steven and Sandra Parsons of CMS Australia as they prepare for the annual conference in August of TEAM, a Japanese organisation committed to establishing healthy, reproducing churches reaching their own people.
NEPAL Pastor Raju from the Rejoicing Christian Fellowship in Nepal seeks prayer for his church as they seek to extend the Kingdom of God in Nepal. His church has no external financial support and no building so they have to rent a house to meet in for worship and other church functions. Pray for their witness in Nepal day by day.
NEPAL Pray for Mark and Ali Gill of CMS Ireland as they settle into a new home and a new life in Ilam, in the east of Nepal. Pray for the work of the hydro-electric project that Mark is overseeing – for safety as activities increase for the 300 workers, and for opportunities for service and ministry.
KENYA Give thanks for the recent 50th anniversary celebrations of Msalato Theological College, Tanzania. Representing New Zealand CMS and other Mission partners past and present who have served in the Diocese of Central Tanganyika, Steve Maina gives thanks for the exemplary leadership of Rev Canon Moses Motanya, the principal of MTC.
INDIA Thank God with IEM for two newly dedicated churches in Chitradurga, Karnataka, despite hostility, and Nagaram, Andhra Pradesh; and for 23 people baptized in Koraput, Orissa.
INDIA Dr Akbar Chuttugulla requests prayer for India Outreach Missions. Their motto is : TO REACH THE UNREACHED IS ONLY OUR MISSION. They are involved in outreach programmes, mass distribution of Christian literature, Church planting, missionary training and mobilizing the local churches for evangelism and misisons in Central India.
CANADA Mission Together Canada has been sponsoring a four year wave of prayer across Canada, Empower Prayer in Canada (EPIC), starting in June in Antigonish. Please pray as they plan the next Empower Prayer summit in the Great Lakes region.
PAKISTAN Pastor Saleem Raza, the President of B.M.S. Bethel Church of Pakistan ask for prayer for the work of his church. He says, "Please continue to pray for our work. We preach THE WORD OF GOD among the nations like Gypsies, kiln laborers and Hindu tribes . We are working for the orphans and widows. There are seventy orphans, who have been housed in our three Orphan Care Homes. They are kiln laborers and live in tents and huts and sell their organs due to poverty. These people are helpless and have no social and academic status. Please pray for our need i.e. Bibles for evangelism campaign in near future. The distribution of the Bible will be among the Muslims."

SOUTH EAST ASIA Let us pray and agree together with Asian Outreach that the ill-effects of colonization, including introduced foreign species and substances, harmful western ideologies, practices and wars that caused deep emotional, physical and spiritual wounds, both collective and individual, will be overcome. In particular, focus on the younger generation in Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and Burma.
UNITED KINGDOM Please pray for the many people arriving at All Nations Christian College, UK, on 18 July for the CMS core training and mission partners conference. Pray for God's hand on the time together and time of sharing of what He is doing around the world.
SOUTH SUDAN Let’s join Rt. Rev. Antony Poggo, Bishop of Kajo-Keji diocese in prayer for the new nation of South Sudan, "Almighty God, we thank you for the new Republic of South Sudan. We pray for its political leaders that they will be united and serve the people with all diligence as they put the nation first. Give them your wisdom as they lead the people. We also pray that the religious leaders will guide and speak with a prophetic voice: a message of hope, peace and reconciliation to the new nation. Purge the new nation of all corrupt practices and instil in the people and their leaders a fear of God and the culture of hard work. We pray for those who have taken up arms that they will agree to peace and resolve all grievances through peaceful means. We pray that South Sudan will have peace with all its neighbours. We pray this through Jesus our Lord. Amen."
NORTHERN AFRICA Thank God with Samaritan Strategy Africa for new funds received for expansion into the Northern Africa region. This programme opens up for churches a biblical worldview for transforming the communities of which they are part. Vision Conferences in Sudan, Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria will be enabled. This is an answer to prayer for the region and we can continue to pray for all they need.
KOSOVA Chris & Lorraine Milton from the Salt programme: "We are developing an anti-drug education programme and relationships are key in this. Recently we took a local man in our town, who has been a heroin addict for 17 years, to a Christian rehab and is starting his recovery programme; pray that he will have patience and strength to see it through; that he will see fruit from his time there and that he will meet Jesus. Please pray for wisdom and favour for us as we develop this new ministry. Pray that we will be able to grow a team and have help and support from others who have a passion to see people released and live in freedom from addictions."
RWANDA Meg Guillebaud of CMS asks for prayer for Pheneas Zimulinda, CMS Timothy partner, who has been to the local hospital where they could not find out what was wrong. Not surprisingly Pheneas is now feeling very down and rather scared. He has lost almost all feeling in his hands. Pheneas has now transferred to a hospital in Nairobi for diagnosis and further treatment. Please pray for healing. There are also financial needs, and Friends of Byumba are accepting donations.
SUDAN AND SOUTH SUDAN We rejoice as the Republic of South Sudan became the world's 195th nation on 9 July, after many years for struggle, and for its leaders. Pray for the Christian minority in the rest of Sudan and for their freedom to live and worship. Pray for the disputed Abyei territory and for Kordofan, where a significant number of Christians live and churches have been destroyed. Pray for the success of peacekeeping efforts.
CAMBODIA Please pray for the Sussex family who are New Zealand CMS Mission Partners in Cambodia. Please pray for them as they continue to work on their language learning.
KENYA From CMS Africa Karobia says, "The last 27 days have been very eventful for my family, and life-changing following the sudden passing on of Wangui, my wife and the mother of our three sons (aged 7,5 and 3). Thankfully, she knew her Saviour. While we grieve her physical absence, we rejoice that she is a part of us and will continue to cherish her memory. We appreciate the many friends, colleagues and family who reached out and prayed for us. I acknowledge my wife, Kui, belongs to us all; so we grieved her passing on. Of special mention are the prayers, kind words, material support and continual encouragement I received from the CMS team and the broader Disciple Nations Alliance (DNA) family. May Yahweh richly bless you."
INDIA Thank God for the pioneer mission work of IEM with the Galo people of Arunachal Pradesh since April 2010. After a girl was delivered of evil spirits a whole family accepted Christ and was baptised. The worship group grew from three to over-fill the mission's house, and a church was built on donated land and dedicated on April this year!

INDIA That God for the Hoskote Mission of Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association, in Karnataka which celebrated it 64th Anniversary recently. Praise God the MTEA Hoskote Mission Nursing College has received approval from Nursing Council of India for the for BSc. Please pray for C K Mathews, General Secretary of MTEA, as he travels to Secunderbad Mission, Andra Pradesh.
NEPAL Pastor Raju Pariyar of "Rejoicing Christian Fellowship" ministries in Nepal requests prayer for their work amongst the children of Nepal. The ministry focuses on preaching to those who have not yet believed in Jesus Christ, and planting churches. He writes "I would like to request to you for the children who have not yet repented. I wants to preserve to them for the glory of God. God spoken with me and called me to work among them. So I would like to request to you pray for them and we will pray hand to hand to the expansion of this work."
ARGENTINA Please pray for SAMS Ireland partners Michael and Silvia Browne with Kevin and Chris and the indigenous Toba people in Formose Province. Please pray for Toba translators Hilario and José - who have nearly finished the first draft translations of the Minor Prophets (Hosea to Malachi) - to find time to finish working on these books and checking the texts of this section, for meetings with Argentine Bible Society publishers and for celebrations in the diocese in October of 100 years of Anglican mission work.
NEW ZEALAND Please pray for the Faith2Share Consultation from 18-22 July hosted by the Anglican Province of Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polonesia as part of their "Common Life Missions Conference" at Waikanai, Wellington, New Zealand. Faith2Share delegates will share and learn from 600+ mission and church leaders of Asia-Pacific and your prayers are needed for all the planning and practical arrangements needed for the event to be a success. PAPUA NEW GUINEA New Zealand CMS Mission Partner Joanna Frampton is returning to Papua New Guinea on 28 July after spending time in New Zealand on Leave and Home Service. Please pray for Joanna as she transitions back into life in Papua New Guinea.

KENYA Let’s thank God that the Archbishop Rowan Williams, toured a CMS Africa partnership community biogas project in Machakos Anglican diocese as part of his pastoral trip to Kenya, and witnessed how cow dung is processed into Methane gas for cooking and its bye product refined into fertilizer for farming. Thank God for his fruitful Kenyan and D R Congo trips.
PAKISTAN Give thanks that members of a CMS consultant's family, and other Christians were released from police custody without charge after allegations of blasphemy were falsely made against them. Pray for them as they need to resettle and rebuild their lives.
CENTRAL ASIA Please pray with Asian Outreach for churches, individuals and ministries that have been working to share the gospel in Central Asia for years and are struggling. Pray that God will renew and refresh their passion and vision and bless their efforts greatly.

DR CONGO CMS mission partner Judy Acheson writes: "This past month has been difficult for us all at the Agape Centre in Mahagi. So please pray for our meetings together when we read the Bible, talk and pray, that God will work in all our hearts to humble us at the foot of the cross and draw us into a new and deeper relationship with him and with each other." Please pray for Bishop Ande, the president of the board and the rest of the board as they plan to meet at the end of June, or later, that God’s will may be revealed, and the right decisions made, and that harmony might be restored.
BRAZIL Antioch Mission have asked us to pray for:
(1) Their missionary meeting in the UK in June 20-25. Pray for safe trips, good fellowship, visas..., please.
(2) There is an effort from the gay movement to have some of its rights recognised in Brazil. The rights in many ways are fair. But in the process of fighting for them, the gay movement might have approved a law in Brazil which will make illegal to teach what the Bible says about homosexuality. So, there is a huge effort from Christian to agree with their rights, but also leaving us the freedom to think otherwise, even to teach otherwise according what the Bible says on this issue.

INDIA Thank God for the recent Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM), women's conference "Women of Insight for Serving and Evangelism". The 200 women from 23 states of India pledged each to train 6 women's leaders in the next year.
ALBANIA Please pray for Féy and Murray Cotter serving as New Zealand CMS Mission Partners in Albania. Pray for their language skills to continue to improve as they balance language study with appropriate ministry opportunities.

NEPAL Thank God for 26 Christian leaders who graduated from a month-long Bible training course by the Himalayan Good News Ministry. They covenanted to live a life of dedication and witness and teach what they had learned. Pray for them as they return to their communities.
GHANA Chris Ampadu of the Samaritan Strategy Africa Programme says, "Thank God for the third regional mentoring program, it was so successful with 19 leaders from six West Africa countries attending. I am currently in Rwanda attending the continental Harvest staff meeting. Please do pray for me as l combine my studies with work. It is a real challenge but God is my helper. Finally, continue to pray for my car. I am still waiting for the LORD’s provision."
TANZANIA Prayers for a videographer have been answered. New Zealand CMS is pleased to introduce husband and wife team, media professionals Geoff and Joy Reid who are travelling around the globe to record the stories of our Mission Partners. Pray for their protection and safety, especially for their camera gear as they travel to their first destination, Tanzania, and for the mission partners there.
KENYA CMS Africa informed us that Wangui Karobia, the wife of one of their staff members, Karobia Njogu, collapsed and died suddenly on 3 June. "The team at CMS Africa wishes to thank all the support accorded our colleague Karobia and the entire CMS Africa family during the very trying moment. Wangui was laid to rest on 10 June. May God richly bless you."
KENYA Please pray for a members of the Karen Community Church, Kariobangi, Kenya, in their pain and loss when 11 people perished in a factory fire, nine of whom were from one church family.
KENYA Irene Tongoi writes, "Praise the LORD for the provision of money for the construction of our resource centre at New Dawn. Pray that we shall have all the shipping containers ready. Pray that both fabrication and furnishing will go on well as planned in order to serve the students. Pray for the students at New Dawn who need the security of a home; we are in the process of setting a boarding house for about 35 such students. Pray for the publication of the New Dawn abstinence programme curriculum - that the cash and expertise will come in together."
CÔTE D'IVOIRE and SIERRA LEONE Thank God for recent visits of the Samaritan Strategy Programme for pastors' conferences in Côte d'Ivoire. Do pray for us in Bo, Sierra Leone, where 240 leaders are attending the conference. In Freetown, there will be 200. The wholistic transformational message is just the appropriate message for the nation; pastors and leaders are very enthusiastic to learn more so that the church can lead in the transformation of this land.
INDIA Ponraj from the Bihar Out-Reach Network gives thanks for the results of a six-monthly medical check up for his wife Sheila. The report confirmed that the Lord has healed Sheila of her cancer. Praise the Lord. Now she has to go for a check up after a year. We want to thank you all for your faithful prayers for Sheila, family and ministry - please continue to pray.

NEW ZEALAND Give thanks for the news that the New Zealand CMS staff team are firmly re-established in their Christchurch office. Give thanks for those who have helped during the disruption, particularly St Augustine's Church who so graciously shared their space with the NZCMS staff.
KENYA Christian Churches are going to launch a caravan to dedicate the 47 newly formed 'Counties to God' in Kenya. The launch will start at Nairobi city’s Uhuru Park on 7 May by dedicating the Nairobi County. Let us pray for a safe caravan which will take 21 days to dedicate Kenya to God before the next elections.
EGYPT The Most Rev Dr Mouneer Anis, Bishop of the Diocese of Egypt, has issued a statement about clashes between Christians and Muslims in Imbaba near Cairo, which resulted in 12 people dead and over 232 injured, and homes, cars and shops and the Church of St Mary suffering fire damage. Bishop Mouneer is part of Beth El-Eila (House of the Family), a newly formed group which gathers together the heads of Christian denominations, several Muslim leaders and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar. An emergency meeting was called by the Grand Imam on Tuesday.
"We all agreed that this incident should be taken very seriously by the authorities. Previous clashes between Christians and Muslims have always been solved through community reconciliation. Visiting and listening, we found, “The damage we saw was indescribable. The area looked as if it was a battlefield, because of the many tanks and soldiers. I was moved by the story of one of the guards of St Mary’s Church, who refused to denounce Jesus Christ...."
The Bishop makes an appeal for prayers for Egypt: "Inter-religious tension is growing in Egypt, and this needs a real strategic plan to combat it. This is what we are trying to do through Beth El-Eila. I very much appreciate your prayers so that the Lord may transform this difficult situation. We all hope the Egypt will be a safe place for all Egyptians."
PARAGUAY The CMS translation team of the Old Testament into the Exnet language would value your prayers: for Tim Curtis checking translations of 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, and Proverbs after returning from his UK visits; for Martin Rojas and his wife Mariana who have been mourning the loss of one of the twins recently born prematurely. Martin has been on compassionate leave with Mariana in Makxawaya, but has now rejoined the team in Rio Verde. Please pray for the surviving twin boy who is in delicate health.
CONGO Thank God for CMS Africa’s Samaritan Strategy Africa, Congo programme in Congo, for a new vocation centre in N’sele-Kimpoko. please pray for Vision conferences in Ngaba, Lodja this month, and for a mentorship session on 14 May. "We really covet your prayers as we seek to equip God’s people for His service."

JAPAN Pray with CMS Australia to keep upholding the spiritual and physical needs of Japan, asking God to show his mercy to all those still suffering after the earthquake; for Japaese Christians that their faith will be a small light in these dark times, and that Japanese people will come to know the comfort that comes from Christ.
INDIA Thank God for work of Friends Missionary Prayer Band to translate John, Matthew (going well) and Acts (first draft) into the Khandeshi Bhili language in Maharashtra, India, and pray for their completion.
SUDAN CMS Ireland requests prayer for Ibba Diocese where Bishop Kamani’s son has been diagnosed with sickle cell disease and has been put on treatment. Please for his health as he takes his treatment. Pray also for the Diocese of Ibba as it prepares to start a one-year intensive English course in Madebe, Manikakara and Ibba Centre.
ASIA A team of Crosslinks and CMS Australia mission partners is ministering to "returnee" students who have become Christians overseas and are looking to fit into a church in Asia. Please pray for Graham and
Alison who "pastor" the team.
HODURAS Pray for Mike, Kim, Liliana and Katherine Miller of SAMS-USA in Villanueva, Honduras, as they receive their first group of children into The Hope of Jesus Children’s Home. Pray for the children as they adjust to their new home. Give praise to God for his provision and for the wonderful work he will do in the lives of these children.
UGANDA Pray with for Paul and Tania Baker with CMS Ireland in Kiwoko, Uganda. Give thanks for the timing of Paul’s arrival to Kiwoko Hospital just as an x-ray machine and ultrasound machine died and he was able to repair them. Pray for Paul as he looks to manage the workload of machines that need repairs. Tania works with the Craft Project with over 20 women with HIV, as well as the guest house. Pray for relationships that develop through these times. Pray for their increasing fluency in L'uganda.
